The place of anti-teen angst. Teen angst is outlawed here. I'm 17, and I hate teen angst. Oh, and I write poetry--but NOT teen angsty poetry. Are we clear on the teen angst thing? Like, that it's not going on?

If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Sergei Rakhmaninov.

I lived in the early Twentieth Century and was well known for my compositional, conducting, and piano skills, yet I am melancholy despite this talent. My famous works include my nearly-impossible piano concerti.

Who would you be? Dead Russian Composer Personality Test

Yay. I love Rachmaninov

ah what a day yesterday. early acceptance letters were due from harvard, brown, smith, and lots of other fine universities. though i myself haven't applied early, ALL of my closest friends did, and it was nerve wracking as fuck for me to find out with them. some of the news was great, some sucked big time, and i think the harvard admissions people were on crack when they decided who to reject, but thats just me. the whole college process is a mess, and i probably won't be able to afford it anyways.

For some reason, my mind confuses the meaning of "reading day" from meaning "day which you may stay home and study your little booty off so that you won't get a C+ in math" to meaning "ahhh, i can sleep till 12 and watch movies all day."

This is going to prove problematic if I want to get into college. Hmmm.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is the most existential movie I've ever seen, bar none. This makes it my favorite Christmas movie, and i LOVE christmas movies, so thats saying something. Also I have a terrible migraine (fellow sufferers understand. . .) which I have to suffer through to study for mid-years. Blergh. Printing out A. @ 7:14 PM / Comments []

I was just remembering yesterday while watching Harry Potter, I was talking to my friends about how some people think Snape is an incredibly attractive, if misunderstood, man. After this, everytime Snape walked his greasy ass onstage, my friend would turn to me and say "hot damn" and drool on my coat. Then I saw the dog, Fang, and I was like "awww how cute" and she was like "hot damn," and she just kept saying it to every character. It was funny. You had to be there.

Oh and someone was telling me how this girl in my class was writing her creative writing assignment while on percoset (which was perscribed--not illegal drug use) and how it started out fine, but after a while, it just got wierder and wierder until her last story went something like this "there was this guy, and he had this hat. It was a heinous hat. I mean, this hat was heinous. Really heinous. Everytime his friends saw him, they would be like "man, what a heinous hat." So one day, he loses his hat, and he thinks to himself "thats ok, it was heinous anyway." that was the end of the story. Man, I wish I could write like that.

Long time, no write. I've been doing mad social life type things like buying people birthday presents, going to a "coffee house" at an all-boys school, and seeing Harry Potter again. Yeah, good times. Umm, so, like, boys in bands are a totally wonderful thing. Both my best friends want to marry guitarists (yeah, phallic extensions, how freudian) but I want to marry a drummer. I mean, how totally HOT is it to watch a drummer? Ahhh, musicians rock my world. If i had any 'cool' music talent (apart from piano, which isn't bandworthy these days) I'd want to be in a band. Maybe I'll learn how to play the drums. Oh, well, its something to aspire to. Mid-years are coming up this week, which mean's I'm a busy little bee these days. So I'm posting a link that's funny and relaxing.

No Effort Online Films

Sit back, relax, and watch some totally awful movies. *Warning, mature content
